San Antonio Family Photographer: Shelly and Travis + fam

I'm slowly climbing out of the "To Blog" folder. These were from back in December.

Since it's almost FEBRUARY, I'll spare you the theme-y shots we did. But I have to say that Travis was a pretty good sport about everything. You know boys never like to have pictures taken. Well, we had him out there with Christmas bulb props, and ladders. He even sat still while Shelly and I wrestled a Santa beard on her CAT. All this, while there was a football game going on, too. 

 They're pretty cute together.  :)

I think Shelly and Trav are in a lot of trouble, in about 5 or 10 more years. Oye.

Now time to write a Shutter Sisters post for tomorrow. Any ideas?  :)

The Ortiz-Wilsons

Thank you for all the nice posts and emails about Emily's new do. Now that a day has passed, I'm over the shock...and also wishing it had happened in time for Halloween. She could have been a monster truck driver, or racoon hunter, or one of the brides from Redneck wedding. Jason took her to the salon to have it fixed. And I know he told the stylist to keep it as long as possible. But the result is that she now looks like the mom from One Day At A Time. I see another trip to the salon in the future of Miss Bonnie Franklin.

Okay, onto some family photos. Her are the Ortiz-Wilsons agan. I met Jackie and Ryan for their first maternity session. They were (and still are) the EEEEEASIEST family to photograph. They are totally connected, and fun, and Ryan completely adores his girls. They are all the sweetest.

So, anyone tuning in for the hunger update? It's getting moderately better, only because I'm down 5 pounds. Other than that, it still sucks. And now that I've had a FITNESS EXPERT comment that 'hungry is her middle name' (hi Jacqueline!) ...well, I feel validated. Thank you for your honesty! And I guess it's worth it because the jeans are fitting better. That's pretty exciting because I've NEVER followed through with a New Years resolution before, and here I am on my second one! Speaking of resolutions, Paul wrote a hilarious post about them yesterday.

Today I'm meeting with Katynator and DDlicious to go through the Caden Lane lifestyle shots. Then it's Chuys to celebrate Tracy's birthday!

Then a belly shoot in the afternoon. Sounds like a good day to me.

Oh, I also want to say hola to my friend Anne who had a surprise baby shower last night, which I was so bummed to have to miss! Welcome baby number three!! You're almost there!! :)

My day started when I signed in at the WOAI desk only to see the name "Amy DeYoung" right above mine. What?!! So a little background. I'm addicted to many blogs...probably more than I should ever admit. And you know you are too, so ANYway, I'd stumbeld on Amy's photo blog about a year ago, and kept up periodically. When I saw that she was moving to San Antonio (a few months back), I basically sent her an email that said, "Hi you don't know me. I'm a blog stalker. Want to have lunch? And I promise I won't murder you". So brave soul that she is, actually agreed. And we had a great time. She also happens to be PREGNANT. So she OF COURSE went to Prego Central and coincidentally met DD, who naturally asked (pretty) Amy to be in the fashion show. And it was so great to see her today in this SMALL WORLD that we live in. Anyway, Amy was also smart enough to bring her camera, so she got a few behind-the-scenes shots if you want to check them out (on her blog link above). THANKS AMY!!  :)

Glad that it's not really about me this time. Hoping I won't have to do much talking. And thinking there are reasons why I'm usually behind the camera.
