The Armentrouts

Did everyone have a good Mother's Day? I'm a little embarrassed to say that I spent it painting my office with Jason. Probably sounds horrible, but I was really in the mood to get it done. AND, want to know the perfect way to pick a paint color? This has worked for me three times now. Find a decor magazine of a room you like and take it in to the hardware store and have them match it. Usually the wall is a bunch of different shades (in the photo), so pick the lightest because it always darkens. I know it doesn't make sense because printers are all different etc. But it has worked for me, and I'm the pickiest paint-picker-outer that you will ever meet. My living room has been EIGHT different shades (in 5 years). And every other room in my house has been at least 3.

8 pounds lost and found. 7 grains on a mission. 1 cute baby.

I was leaving sneakers in the car so I could go to the gym all spontaneously. I was getting used to the hunger. I was down 8 pounds. Then I went to the lake and ate and drank my entire body weight for 3 days. I am the star of the weight-loss version of Groundhog Day. So I'm all bummed out about  it, when I receive this in the mail from one of my favorite people.

It's moments like this that make me feel lucky. Like how much better does it get, than to know people who pack protein bars into manilla envelopes and send them across town? That just cracks me up. AND, it also proves DD's and my theory that EVERY skinny person in this world eats Kashi. We always joke about those seven grains on a mission. But apparently, there is something to it. THANK YOU KAREN. You are awesome. And I think I can go at least one more day without stapling my stomach.  :)

hola!

I had a real post planned, with real pictures and everything. But the day is slipping through my fingers. I'm trying to get work done in between runny noses, and ear aches. Chillin

I don't know how Katy and Damon do it, but they made hosting 15 adults, and 15 kids for an entire weekend, look easy. They rock! The whole thing was super laid back, with an extra dose of laughing until your stomach hurts and your mascara smears.

Kellye

Starting the senior season off ninja-style. Meet Kellye and her her amazingness. I wrote a little bit about her session a couple of weeks ago. She rocks.
