8 pounds lost and found. 7 grains on a mission. 1 cute baby.

I was leaving sneakers in the car so I could go to the gym all spontaneously. I was getting used to the hunger. I was down 8 pounds. Then I went to the lake and ate and drank my entire body weight for 3 days. I am the star of the weight-loss version of Groundhog Day. So I'm all bummed out about  it, when I receive this in the mail from one of my favorite people.

Filled with these.

It's moments like this that make me feel lucky. Like how much better does it get, than to know people who pack protein bars into manilla envelopes and send them across town? That just cracks me up. AND, it also proves DD's and my theory that EVERY skinny person in this world eats Kashi. We always joke about those seven grains on a mission. But apparently, there is something to it. THANK YOU KAREN. You are awesome. And I think I can go at least one more day without stapling my stomach.  :)

On that lovely note, I thought I'd post some actual photos today from a session a few weeks ago. Isn't she the cutiest pattotiest bootiest little button bunny cheeks you've ever seen?

Awww, so cute! Sydney started smiling and talking to the last picture!!! She does this all the time when we put her in front of the mirror. She could be screaming and as soon as she sees "that baby" in the mirror, she coos away!
Come to D.C. so you can do her pictures!!!! Please!!!!

Let me know how the bars taste. Maybe I'll crack open the box of cereal that's been in the pantry at least a month. Don't want to rush into anything.

I absolutely love every one of these pictures. WOWIE!! Oh, and on the subject of weight,...I've been making a whole pitcher full of smoothie in the mornings, and drinking it when I get hungry throughout the day. It really fills me up! :)

I love Kashi it's my favorite snack food. If you wanna lose some weight you may want to start drinking magnesium citrate once a week. It gets the system moving. haha

I prefer the drink my meals plan. How many calories are in a margarita again???

OMG - I want that wall picture of Ashlyn. That is seriously one of the coolest baby pics I've ever seen of yours!

My friend sent me shutter sisters and I came across your blog. I absolutely love your photographs. They are absolutely gorgeous and inspirational. I'm a soon-to-be college student who is looking for my very first SLR camera because I unfortunately cannot take my school's cameras with me. I love knowing the type of inspiration that can come out of a photograph. Love your blog!

Ooooh, that baby's little chubby arms and incredible big eyes... she looks perfectly squeezable. What gorgeous photographs.

I have just jumped (back) on to the "diet" bandwagon. Isn't 10 pounds quite difficult to take off, but oh so easy and fun to put back on again! Good luck, sister!

Hi, I am Beau's mom and D D's wicked mother in law, and have a message for you. Besides loving everyone of your photo's, I am not really sure that the handwritting isn't D D's on the brown envelope...are you sure that you've questioned her? Tia
