Selena

This is my sweet friend Selena. You might remember the last time I was on The Living Show. I'd been having the morning from HELL. She's the one who was responsible for me not having a nervous breakdown on TV. So I love her for that. I also love her for the fact that she was brave enough to sit on my garage floor to have her pictures taken when she was pregnant with her first baby (3? 4? years ago). At the time, I'd taken a break from doing photography. Had been totally burned as well as burned out. Knew I loved it, but wasn't sure how to do it in a way that kept me interested and sane. Well honestly, it was people like her that made me decide it could be fun again. 

The only thing I don't like about her is how AMAZING she looks when she's pregnant. That is JUST NOT RIGHT. I guess I will forgive her. This time.  

I finally got to PAINT on someone's belly! Thanks for letting me play Selena! And for putting up with all my crazy ideas.

Paint me happy! That is amazing. A real brain tease. The color of that flower is in such co-operation with the color of the grass, you seriously had me tricked. Tromp l'oeil... Fool the eye!
