The Tuck. The Sequel.
I wanted to post these before the end of summer. There are SO many photos from Kentucky, this was actually narrowing it down.
Looking back on these makes me think I'm lucky. Jason has a very fun family.
A couple random ones from the park.
The LUAU REUNION. :0)
Grammy put so much thought and effort into every detail, including having these labels made and laminated for everyone's leis.
Jason's mom/Grammy the awesome party planner.
Sweet kiddos.
Of course no party is complete without the limbo and a pinata...
Candy, RUN!
Then the water balloon fights started. Here are Jason's cousins plotting their victims. If that's not an evil grin, I don't know what is.
For a good hour, no one could relax. We kept looking over our shoulders all paranoid. This next one is right after they snuck up on Jason's Grandad (Peepaw). So funny, because he is the ultimate joker too.
Jason's Uncle Jimmy and his melons. :0)
The WHOLE fam.
How the photo above all began.
After the sun went down, the kids put on a show for everyone. My heart melted when Annie sang her puka pants song that my mom taught her 2 years ago. It was the sweetest thing ever. Then she sang it over and over. And over again. I'm so happy she doesn't have stage fright, but finally had to say, "That was awesome honey, let's go do something else now". ...Sweetie.
We also got to party with Jason's cousins again. It had been WAY too long since we'd seen them...like 3-12 years. And it was just like the old days before kids and mortgages. We had so much fun. I seriously love his family like it's my own. And I hope we get to do this much more often.
And that's all you get. The rest of these are best not shared with the world wide web. :0)
Now, changing the subject. Kelly has some SFO photos up if you want to see the same trip from another perspective. I love that about blogs. Also, I loved what Melody said (in the comments of the previous entry) about the ideals of motherhood being a fascade that is unattainable. You are awesome Melody. And that is SO TRUE. Thank you for that. We all need to remember this.
And on another note, I'm going through an identity crisis. Well, the business is anyway. So if the logo looks different every other day, please excuse the schitzophrenia. I have something in my head that I'm having trouble executing, so it might be a while. But I'm working on it.
Bye ya'll.
