Maternity: Rachelle

Rachelle's home was like walking into a Bed & Breakfast in Fredericksburg. And she was equally as warm. Her sweet mom was up visiting and we had a great shoot (despite the massive humidity). For one, she was up for anything, which ALWAYS makes better photos. It's not often that I get a pregnant lady who is so willing to lay down in the grass.

Check out her supermodel moves.

Rachelle lives out in the country. Her house is surrounded by horses, dogs, and a free-roaming LOOOONG-HORNED COW named Carmelita. She was about 6 feet from me while I took this next shot, and SQUARELY STARING ME DOWN. Did I mention her bayonette horns were LONG? I was picturing myself running through the streets of Pamplona, and kept saying, "Carmelita's not going to kill me right? You promise?"..."Because I have children and they like it when I'm living." :0)  Rachelle and her mom reassured me that she was very sweet and harmless. I believe them, but did I mention how long her horns were?

And don't ever say I wouldn't die for my art.

This one is my favorite of the day.

Since the shoot, Rachelle gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Naomi Alaynah. How sweet is that name. We'll be doing her newborn session soon, so you'll even get to meet her. Congratulations Rachelle and David!

Have a sweet Tuesday everyone!

Okay, I am just jealous, but how do you get so lucky to shoot all these ladies that are lacking stretch marks on their bellies? My tummy looks like the Underground Tube Map for London! OR, are you just a photoshop EXPERT??????
