On a roof. In the Peg.

When I was in Winnipeg, Kal arranged for me to do a family session for her good friend Dana. How cute is she, right?

Both Dana and Charlie were so warm and welcoming... made for a fun vibe right from the start.

They coolest was getting to shoot on the roof of this building that they own. It was extra special because they also had their wedding photos taken right here. Pretty sweet. Although the one of Charlie standing on the ledge still kind makes my stomach hurt.

My favorite. I could have shot up there all day.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Every time I look at shots from a shoot of yours, it motivates me just that much more to book a train trip and a shoot with you. I'm so going to work to make that happen.

Also, I love these shots. That family looks like a lot of fun. I like especially the goofy/artsy ones where they are all standing side by side but not touching.

I also love Dana's sweater! I love nubbly wool like that. Awesome texture.
