Under the weather
So, that little stomach virus that is making it's way around town? The one that my friends got, then Jason got. The one that I was feeling all smug about NOT getting? Because so much time had passed, and if "I was going to get it, then I would have gotten it by now". Right? So I went on about my life, just hugging people all willy-nilly and drinking out of their water cups. Because MY white blood cells are hard core. They wear helmets, and carry shields. And they are from Sparta. So don't mess with them because they live on the edge.
Yep. Then THEY WENT ON STRIKE FOR 24 HOURS. Leaving me to puke my way through an entire night and day. You know what? And this is speaking from experience. Natural childbirth is EXCEEDINGLY LESS PAINFUL.
And MORE painful than childbirth, I get to go bathing suit shopping this weekend. Oh the fun just never ends around here.
