How they make honey.

According to Annie.

I love this time of year because the jasmine blooms and it smells so good as you walk into the house. Makes me feel like I'm not a complete plant murderer. Because this is what they usually look like.

This one's name is Jesus, because he comes back from the dead all the time.  :)

Thank you for all the happiness you sent over in the last post about me catching up. Turns out there's no such thing. But it's still good in the hood. I'm working on new things. Ideas are swirling. New ways I want to start shooting. Just bought a new website today, so it will be fun cleaning things up and SPRUCING. I think that's my word for the day. I'm a Sprucing Sprucer, watch me Spruce.

Annie IS the honey-maker!

And tell our little honey-maker Nana and Papa's birfday gift will be a little late, but that because she is a honey-maker, she is going to love, love it!

I just HAVE to tell Animesh that you actually wrote "good in the hood" in your post. I've been quoting that around here for months. He just rolls his eyes and tells me I'm the only one who ever says that!! HA HA!!!

As for Jesus the plant coming back from the dead...well, I cracked up at that sentence.

You're funny. :)

I am dying laughing that you call that plant Jesus. We have a knew name for our bachelor plant (we call it that because any guy could watch it look like it's dead and then add water and it comes back!) Too funny!!!

"jesus"...classic. love that!

and oh my gosh, look at that jasmine! It is one of my favorite smells in the whole world. My world right now is covered in snow. Even my freshly sprouted daffodils are covered in a blanket of very wet 3 inches of snow.

Take an extra sniff for me, girly-girl. :)

Right on, Annie. That's what I know about the process too. I love kid's explanations of things because they simplify.

i'm no longer blog stalking you!
so take your jesus in a pot and go elsewhere!!

haha. i was in SA this week. i wanted to look you up. and take you out for gelatto . or something fattening. i discovered the fantastic Crepe Romanoff at La Madeline and almost died. i gained four lbs in three days there. so, it's a good thing i didn't find you to take you out for more sugar or food or fat or greasy tacos, tortillas or...

crap. i think i just gained a few more pounds.

It is nice to know that I am not the only one that cannot handle plant care :) And, yea... "Jesus" - you are too funny!!

LOL, you crack me up! The good thing about pothos is that you can always take a cutting if the whole plant dies, but one little leaf, stick it in water and it'll root again.

The insane thing is that if you let it grow here in Florida, outdoors, it grows into this giant leafed plant that takes over trees!
