I love the idea of a life list. I too was inspired by Maggie years ago and wrote one after the death of my first daughter. At the time I really needed to find something to look forward to.Now every year for my birthday I look at the list and pick something to do. I love the idea of yours and being able to fill up the jar.

Maile! LOVE the life list....you've inspired me to actually put mine in print.....right now its floating around in my head...has been for years. It never actually occurred to me to make a list of things that bring me joy and not just lists of drudgery! And my kids have a reward jar...why can't Mom?:)
