white space.

We've been up to a lot of nothing spectacular. Which has been pretty spectacular if you ask me. 

Whenever I'm editing in photoshop, I feel like I can't really see an image until it's surrounded by some white space. The past few days of wonderful nothingness have offered me the same kind of perspective. And maybe the realization that white space days are equally as productive and necessary as the ones filled with appointments and deadlines.

I'm so ready for a new year. 

I hope your holidays have been filled to the brim with everything that matters most to you.

Maile, your kids are so beautiful. It is so hard to believe that Annie is the same little baby that was just sitting peacefully in the little carrier when we came to visit you that one time.
