Today

Window into my morning.

I'm making coffee and Annie comes into the kitchen crying, "Mommy, (sniffle) Chance said that I was a princess."

"But honey, you are a princess. He was being sweet to you."

"No he wasn't" (sniffle, sniff) "He was being MEAN!"

"Sweetie, how is that being mean?"

"He knows I'm not a princess mommy. I'm the QUEEN."

...should I be proud or scared? I'm not sure.

Switching subjects. I have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU Tracey for your sweet words yesterday. What a nice surprise! You made my day, and I hope you know that the feelings are totally mutual.

Next up, I promised you a ROCKSTAR INTERVIEW today, and boy did I deliver! Go to the WOAI blog for a behind-the-paintbrush look at the one and only.

Lastly, I want to give a shout out to my homeys from dinner last night. If I haven't said it before, every Wednesday is "Girls' Night Out". Also known as "Church Night" and "Paxil Wednesday".

We went downtown to Rosarios, where they have lots of beauties displayed everywhere. This one was my favorite. I love her blue hair.

Thanks for another great night girls.

And one last thing. Anna, thank you for your nice words yesterday too. Your 8 Random Facts were so interesting! I can't believe Matthew McConaughey (and his greasy tan) wasn't totally personable! Not. You were scaring me when you said you were in a hotel room with a state governor. :) And I totally agree about the peanut butter and chocolate combo! I will have to think about my Crazy Eights...

Bye peeps! Have a fun day!

LOVE the restaurant pics and especially the painting of the BLUE HAIR girl. Cool. Thanks for the shout out - it makes Dan fall to the floor with laughter when you call me a rockstar - which is actually ending up to be quite good for his back so keep it up. ;) AND - royal arm pump for Queen Annie. I like that girl's style.

When I come to San Antonio, I want to go to Wednesday Night Paxil Communion with the un-nuns! And Annie... only a true Queen would cry at being called a mere Princess.

I cannot believe Annie!!! She is sooo the 'Queen' of everything. I wish I knew myself the way she does!!
And I love that picture in the restaurant. Can I commission Kal to paint one like that for me?!!! By the way, awesome interview on WOAI...inspirational!

i love rosarios! :) awesome! annie....sweet little QUEEN! i get upset when people call me a princess too...it's so degrading for those of us who have moved up the royal ladder. Kal's interview rocked in true rockstar fashion and isn't everyday a Paxil day???? :) :)
