Photos (finally) from Chi-town

Yes, we are dorks that had matching T Shirts made.
Courtney keeps a candy store in her purse in place of the sugar drip that she would otherwise have to mount permanently into her veins. Then she has the nerve to be a size 4. I hate her.
We went one of Tina's favorite restaurants (Kampai) for her birthday where they make a specialty called "Golden Shrimp". She said you either love it or hate it. I wish I had a photo of the golden lard surprise, but lets just say we didn't love it. :0) However the beer was very good.
Did you know champagne comes in cans? I told you, this is how we roll people.
You know it's a good night when someone busts out in a cheer they remember from high school.
We played this card game that asked you all kinds of questions like "have you ever lit yourself on fire in a field of daisies?" I loved this one. Like, if you had a scary disease, the place to reveal it is right in the middle of a party. Gonorrhea anyone?
The next day we went to the Benefit store and got mini makeovers.

Tina's friend's daughter owns this boutique called Lisa Hill Studio. You get to design your own handbag from all these pretty fabrics.
I like instant gratification so I bought this one that was already made.
We got kicked out of this boutique for taking pictures. It also might have been because the owner overheard Joi saying that it smelled like a mix between potpourri and gas in there. A little rude, yes. But she was right. It did reek.
We went to lunch at this place called Minnie's. I wish I had taken more photos to show you how cute it was in there. Apparently I was too enamored with taking pictures of myself in their bathroom mirror.
At one point, there weren't enough seats in the car... excuse me, I mean Big Pimping Caravan. So Joi (pictured here), being microscopically small was the lucky one who got to sit on the floor like a nine year old child. Moral of the story: it doesn't always pay to be skinny.
A Chocolate Lounge people.
Do lip plumpers really work?
These were taken at the Cloud Gate at Millenium Park.
That is the weekend, minus when we went out dancing and I didn't want to bring my camera. Probably best those ones stay buried in a drawer anyway. Again I want to say thanks to Tina for turning 40 (ha ha, I said it again) and giving us an excuse to get away with the girls for a weekend. It was SO fun! And we are definitely doing it every year! Maybe bi-annually even...is quarterly too much to ask?...just kidding Jason. :0)
