Best Shot Monday: Sharing the love.
One of my favorite families sent me thank-you flowers and chocolates the other day. It was unexpected happiness delivered to the door. Thank YOU Jacqueline and Ryan! I can't say enough about how I've enjoyed photographing your family over the years. Even way back when you guys took maternity shots on my GARAGE FLOOR "studio"...(and were totally cool about it). You guys are so genuine, you rock.
So, in the spirit of passing it on, I had intended on doing a few little give-aways this month. The first one, I thought of last night as I ceremoniously broke out my FAVORITE holiday polish for DD and Katy's Christmas party (which was very fun by the way). Y'all haven't lived until you've seen DD karaoke the YMCA. I'm serious, she will put you on the floor with her mad "sing-talking" skillz :) ... But back to my point. RUBY SLIPPERS (by Toma) is a magical heavenly polish of wonder. When I was a manicurist, all of us had at least two bottles at all times. One on the shelf, and one that you kept hidden in the back of a drawer just in case someone "borrowed" yours. The glitter flecks are TEENSY, which means that it adds a subtle shimmer and depth, without looking like someone glued confetti to your nails...(I hate big glitter flecks). Anyway girls, IT IS A STAPLE. Not too orange, not too bright, just pure Christmas lusciousness. And I'm giving them out for FREE! Whoever comments today will be added into a drawing and I'll pick 5 winners who will each be mailed a bottle of THE Ruby Slippers! I would open it up to the whole week, but you'll need it soon for all your holiday festivities!
Also remember that glitter can dull shine, so don't forget to use a top coat. AND, I know how to make your polish stay on without chipping for a week. If you want to know the trick, read here.
Happy Monday Peoplonia.

congrats on the warm fuzzies.
Thanks!
Thanks for the nail polish tip...I rarely wear polish because it chips and peels so much. I painted mine yesterday and doing the dishes this evening took it right off. *sigh* Ruby Slippers sounds fantastic - even the name is great!
